My name is Sangita Mittra and I am the managing director and founder member for NGDA. I have over 20 years of experience in community development work and setting up community projects that help tackle social issues and exclusion.

As a Casework Specialist I find resolutions for those experiencing barriers to services in Essex due to race or social identity.

I am passionate about helping people and believe that together anything is possible

Carlos Byles
Creative Director (CD)

My name is Carlos Byles and I am the Creative Director at NGDA which involves managing the events that we deliver.

I am 21 years of age and I am passionate about young people gaining diverse opportunities in the events sector.

I am an actor,coach and film director, known for Being Black (2021), That's How It Really Is (2022) and What Happened to Karen? (2020).

I believe in the work we do as it gives young people a platform to get their voices heard and address issues that affect New Generations.

Wrenay Raphael
Finance Director (FD)

My name is Wrenay Raphael and I am the Finance Director at NGDA.

I am a Software Engineer at NatWest Markets which I enjoy.

My role at NGDA is overseeing our financial spends and ensuring we purchase cost effective,ethically sourced materials that are environmentaly friendly for every part of the business.

I am 21 years of age and I believe there is a need for the work we do.

I enjoy supporting other peers and sharing my knowledge about apprenticeship schemes and contacts that can enable other young people access employment opportunities.

Bobita Dey - Advisory Member

I'm Bobita Dey and I advise NGDA on PR and outreach.

I have over 20 years of professional experience in the media industry and have been an advocate for diversity and inclusivity throughout my career.

I am particularly passionate about elevating future generations and securing equitable careers for all so that every young adult can look forward to seeing themselves on screen, in print and on radio as well as working behind the scenes.

George Davies - Advisory Member

I'm George Davies and I have been a member of NGDA for many years.

I am a singer and song producer. I have delivered Hate Crime Awareness workshops in schools and I am a member of the events commitee.

I was a young person when I joined NGDA and now I mentor other young people in my spare time.

Leila Davies - Advisory Member

I'm Leila Davies and I have been a member of NGDA since I was under 10. I have particpated at various events and festivals.

I am a consious grime artist and song producer. I am a member of the events commitee.
